Turn Down to Off: A Smarter Way to Control Your Thermostat
Our Ursium and Zentium2 thermostats have always given users the flexibility to choose when heating or cooling is active. But sometimes, simplicity is best—like being able to quickly switch between Auto and Off without digging through menus.

That’s where our new Turn Down to Off feature comes in.
With this update, you can:
-
Switch to Off with a twist – Rotate the dial anticlockwise to the minimum set point, then keep turning to switch the thermostat off.
-
Resume with ease – From Off mode, turn the dial clockwise to restore the last mode used, then continue adjusting your set point as normal.
-
Stay relevant – The thermostat only shows modes that apply to your setup (for example, you won’t see “Cool” in a heating-only room). Installers can also fine-tune which options are available, including Off, Auto, and Away.
By default, Turn Down to Off is enabled, but if you prefer the traditional behaviour, it can easily be disabled.
To try it out, simply upgrade your Ursium or Zentium2 thermostat to firmware v1.3.1 or newer—and enjoy faster, more intuitive control.
