At Polar Bear Design, we understand that exceptional outcomes are built on strong partnerships and a shared commitment to detail. Our recent visit to IQ Premium Engineering in Knightsbridge, London offered exactly that — an opportunity to experience first-hand a space where craftsmanship, innovation, and design excellence converge.

Situated in one of London’s most prestigious districts, the showroom is a reflection of its surroundings — refined, considered, and unapologetically luxurious. Spanning multiple levels, the space has been designed not simply to display products, but to immerse visitors in a complete design experience. 

A Showroom Defined by Materiality

From the moment you enter, the attention to detail is unmistakable. The showroom showcases an exceptional palette of materials — rich natural stones, warm textures, bespoke finishes, and sculptural lighting installations that create both atmosphere and statement.

One of the standout features is a striking stone bath, carefully sourced and brought over from Ukraine. Its presence is both bold and elegant, serving as a centrepiece that highlights the level of craftsmanship and global sourcing that defines our partners’ work. 

Each room flows seamlessly into the next, offering a journey through different moods and design approaches, all unified by a consistent standard of quality and precision.

We were particularly proud to see the Polar Bear Design thermostat integrated effortlessly within this environment — a subtle yet essential element that complements the space without detracting from its aesthetic integrity.

Knightsbridge: Location Meets Lifestyle

The showroom’s location in Knightsbridge adds another layer to its appeal. Surrounded by some of London’s most iconic retail and residential addresses, it sits at the heart of a design-conscious, high-end clientele.

This is a setting where expectations are high — and rightly so. The showroom rises to meet them, offering a space that feels both aspirational and attainable for luxury developments and private clients alike. 

Beyond the Showroom

Extending the experience even further, the top floor of the building is home to ALBA Restaurant — another project delivered by our approved installers. This addition perfectly demonstrates the breadth of their capability, moving seamlessly between residential and hospitality environments while maintaining the same level of design integrity.

The transition from showroom to restaurant reinforces a key idea: great design is not confined to one space — it’s a holistic experience.
